Weirdest Discovery Yet

We found this on the wall when we took over the house. What. The. Heck. IS IT?!

I don't know what to say. I'm not clever enough to say something clever about this.

What do you think it is?

  8. That is definitely a thing of beauty. My grandfather could have made it and my grandmother would have been the one to buy those dolls.

  11. My Grandmother had a shelf almost like that with asian figurines on there. It would be interesting to find out if it was a magazine article or something that started that "trend".

  16. That is the funniest thing ever! Where do you find funny little Asian people like that with a German Hummel? You just need a troll doll to add to it!

  17. Interesting.

There seems to be European figurines mixed in with some Asian figurines. I wonder what the original batch the creator made was for.

  18. My mother had a moon shelf just like this when we were growing up! No one had spent the TLC to give it a teeny bamboo railing, though! Ah, our poor knick-nacks sat in constant peril of a slamming door.
