Yes, He's a Fart Machine. But He's *Our* Fart Machine

Oh Morgan, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways:
1. Your tip tip tip tippy toes.
2. Those noble ears, and the fact that there is little else 'noble' about you.
3. Your sunny spot GPS locating system.

  1. Even as I type, my dog is dreaming in the lone ray of sunlight in this room. I am tempted to join her.

  2. My dog does the same thing. He finds the smallest spot of sun to be in.

  5. One of my dogs passes the WORST gas! It happens very rarely, but a few times a year a horrible smell will pervade the bedroom. Silent but deadly.

  6. The best thing about having a dog is being able to blame some things on them! Our dog that has long passed away used to find the sunny spots too, we always called him "solar dog".

  10. HA! Dog farts!

Sadly we lost our big stinky yellow dog to cancer 18 mos ago, BUT the entire family still talks about the funk that beloved beast was capable of creating.

I can only hope that when it's my turn to go I will be remembered as fondly :)

  12. LOL. Too cute. Our english bulldog was a serious fart machine. Not only were they malodorous but loud. I miss my girl spanky. She passed away in January at 14 years old.

  13. have i recommended wheat- and corn-free dog food? and did you try it? and did it make a difference?

for our piglets, it makes all the difference in the world...

  14. Aw! Send him to me in a box, he is beautiful and I want a dog just like him. I love how animals instinctively lay in the warm sunbeam in any home...and envy that they get to do it all day.

  15. Just found your blog via BlogHer. Morgan is incredibly cute, though I admit I'm biased because I have a Boston Terrier named Buckminster who looks just like him and is also a rescue. Btw, Buckminster had really bad gas when we adopted him, but when I changed his diet, it went away (don't know if that could help Morgan, you may have already tried). We started adding a tablespoon or so of pumpkin puree to his food. Also the more natural dogfoods seemed to help too (w/ first two ingredients being protein, not too much carbs etc.).
