Excessively Idealistic

I want a t-shirt that says that in a nice, big, clear font: "Excessively Idealistic." No one should let me wander (unattended) the aisles and pleine air environs of a garden store until after the Zone 6 Frost Date.
I am a sucker for plants.

Wait. I think I need a t-shirt that says that too.

p.s. Our front porch bricks are not painted and are REALLY that orange. Hmmmmmm.

  6. Gorgeous. I'm always tempting the frost as well; I love love LOVE getting the plants out into the ground. I try to limit myself to seeds, as those feel more cost-effective and transportable.

Once in a while I go crazy and buy a fruit tree, which someone then manages to mow down, pretty much without fail. I think we still have a grape vine..

  7. I take it you didn't have the snow we had yesterday here in Michigan!

  8. So pretty! I have to ignore the greenhouses when they open in early April. I just want to plant like crazy, but the weather is too unpredictable here. Usually by Mother's Day we are fairly safe to plant without frost killing it!
