I'm pretty sick.
BLOG JEALOUSY TEST
Question #1: Name three blogs you love to read and hate to read. You would never delete them from your RSS feed because their content is magically delicious, but gawd do they agitate the little green monster.
TEST RESULTS
If you answered the question, you have blog jealousy. Maybe they have an amazing skill? Or you want their couch so badly it makes you want to kick yourself in the golden palace? Or maybe their hunting instinct is so sharp they could find a mid-century modern treasure in Duluth for $2.......or a mid-century modern china cupboard/bar for $100 in western Massachusetts.
Dear gentle reader. Don't hate. Be a little jealous, yes, but don't hate.
Beaut!
ReplyDeleteDear HH, not only am I envious of this find, but I want your floors. How they boards form those lap joints in the corners? It's downright near herringbone (which would be my dream hardwood floor). Brava for finding a home with that detail.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally jealous :) Great find!
ReplyDeleteThat's stunning.
ReplyDeleteYou find the perfect fit for your home and it's always beautiful and classic. Great find and I'm not a jealous person, but I do have a tiny bit of green monster going on...but it's Christmas so I'll be good!
ReplyDeleteSoo green with envy right now. That a great deal and gorrrrgeous too! This is an awesome piece! I wish I can fit one of these in my dining room. My future (very near) mid century piece purchase is the eiffel dining chairs with dowel legs. Have your seen them? TDF!!! To. Die. For. I'll have to blog about it when I get mine and risk the fact that people will be jealous of me. LOL. I kid, I kid...
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! We looked at a mid-century modern house once and I wanted it and I wanted to fill it up with goodies like this!
ReplyDeleteSweetie, That piece is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful finish, beautiful wood, beautiful proportions! Great find! Love, mom
ReplyDeleteWhat a meanie :-) However, I'm having wood floors put in upstairs in 2012, and now I have that nifty picture to go by. Is that oak? Why the color variations, was it patched with wood from a closet?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely piece - great find!
ReplyDeletedelicious! I will absolutely admit to being a little jealy...but at the same time - WAY TO GO! What an awesome find!
ReplyDeleteHoly fudge...I love that! I hate you. And love you. And I do have several blogs I love and hate. Oh well!
ReplyDeleteit's killa
ReplyDeleteHi Karen Anne! Our dining room floor is herringboned oak on the outside and shitty wide pine in the center. Back in the days of y'ore, it was a common technique to put cheap-ass wood in the center of a room where a rug would supposedly cover it.
ReplyDeleteMy heart just stopped. That is awesome.
ReplyDeleteWait a sec, I'm still drooling over your floors!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing find, at an amazing price! My heart skipped a beat when I saw this piece on Pinterest. But, wow, I can't believe the deal you got on it! Unbelievable! So cool.

Purty!
ReplyDeleteJust bought the same hutch from an east coast thrift store...it needs some cleaning but at $65.00 I am not complaining at all. Would like to know if you know who made it (no markings that I can tell).
